Hi guys,

A nice picture of Matfords and a Peugeot van, with a strange unit emblem on the truck. And two shots of a Laffly helping out what seems to be a Horch staff car. All from ebay.

Hello,

Nice photos, I always enjoy the Laffly vehicles. The first one seems to carry French POWs among the passengers and he insignia on the door is probably French too.
Stoveb, your last photos are very good (even when enlarging them they are sharp). The staff car is perhaps from 45.ID or 88.ID but I am not sure.
Concerning the stange marking on the Matford truck it is possibly French but I would rather say German. In the hypothesis of a French truck, which would stilll have its insignia : if the diamond is blue it could be a truck belonging to the cavalry. Nonetheless the diamond itself seems too small to be a French marking for the cavalry and there should normally be a white square behind the diamond. Concerning the insignia itself I couldn't identify it.
