Nice Renault Bill, I had that one tucked away somewhere too... good old ebay.

Here's a Renault B1, that seems to be related to one I poseted earlier in Waffen SS service.

Cheers

An unusual Peugot. Unusual because of the size of the wheels & tires. I would suspect it was originally issued to the French Army as opposed to being an oppressed vehicle.

Here from Ebay a Renault R35. It was used directly by frontline troops in France 1940.

Hello,

A photo I have just bought on e-bay. It shows German troops operating a French 37mm TR16 infantry gun.

conversions of beute FCM36

#660

Post by Franzl Rider » 20 Aug 2005, 19:56

I have a question on the German use of the French FCM36.

Spielberger states in his book "Beute-Kraftfahrzeuge und -Panzer" that 48 FCM36 were converted with 75mm-Pak40 and that another 48 were converted with 105mm-leFH 16. That makes 96 in total, quite an achievement as only 100 FCM36 were ever made. But it is quite possible that I misunderstand the text.

On http://www.wikipedia.nl the number of conversions is 12 FCM.

Does anybody have the right numbers of these types?
