Re: Rarities
Hi everybody
looking at some of my pictures of unidetified vehicles today
I found an interesting conversion of an ADMK.
Here the picture and a picture of the model which in my opinion it was based on.

Re: Rarities
Hi,
The two photos in #17 are the same type of vehicle, it just that the lower photo has not got the road wheels fitted, but the fixing points for them are there, and a side door edge can just be seen behind the soldier.
Also these soldiers are Luftwaffe Fallschirmjager and the tractor carries the divisional insignia of the 7th Flieger Division. (arrow in a circle).
cheers

Re: Rarities
Hi All,
found a rare photo of a Pzspwg DAF 201 (h) M39 with frame antenna
(three of them in one picture). It's only the 4th picture that I found.
Here all of them that I collected. Sorry if I posted them before.
Regards

Re: Rarities
Hi all
in post 4186 of the Allied Vehicles in Germen Service thread there is a picture
of a very rare Bren carrier with a French 7,5 cm gun M97 behind the M39.
While sorting my pictures I found another photo of this vehicle.
On the second picture is a 10,5 cm FH 16 on a Mark VI. But the superstructure
looks different than the Baustab Becker version or is it just my eyes? What do you think?
Regards

Re: Rarities
Armin, that second photograph is not of the 75mm armed Carrier but of one of Becker's 105mm armed Vickers Light Mark VI conversions. You can tell by the double wheels, the angle of the glacis and the "box" light fitting just under the man's foot in the centre. The fact that it is obviously a 105mm gun helps too.

Re: Rarities
Hi Alan
it is definitely a 10,5 cm FH 16 on a Mark VI.
But the shape of the superstructure seems to be diffent to the Becker variant.
Or is it just the perspective.

Re: Rarities
Hi Alan
I think you are right. The little box is the same as on the Becker vehicles.
Thank you for the confirmation.

Re: Rarities
Hi all
here a recent Ebay picture of Bren/Universal carriers.
Interesting the vehicle on the left hand side.
It has a converted superstructure. Could it be a ammunition carrier?
Attached some more pictures of ammunition carriers.
