Beutepanzer in Russian Movie

#91

Post by Martinski » 30 Jan 2006, 20:29

Hi,

I digitized a Russian movie about T-34. One of the sequences shows the recovery of a Russian tank, complete with German markings. Seems to be in remarkable good condition.

Beutepanzer in Russian movie

Hi Sander ! Yes, it is the same vehicle. I got that sequence from a commercial Russian film about the history of the T-34. I bought the movie (DVD) recently in Kiev (Ukraine).

The film shows the history and action of the T-34; it shows lots of historical footage and some interviews. One of the sequences in Part 2 shows the recovery of that T-34.

Thanks for the advice about the website. Didn't know.

This T-34 seems to have its frontal armour plating removed and has a large flag similar to NSDAP banner draped over it.

Isn't that just the driver's vision plate being opened?

All the best

Oh, wou meant commander's cupolas. On the origianal post you wrote "turret", so I thought that maybe the Germans had replaced damaged KV turrets with their own. I should have known better.
