Hello to all ; more......................................
H.Küst.Art.Abt. 531 - Libau.
The S-65 or Stalinets S-65 tractor was a very popular agricultural tractor built by the Chelyabinsk Tractor Factory (Chelyabinskii Traktornyi Zavod - ChTZ) from 1937 to 1941. These tractors were used in military service since they were widely available and were able to tow heavy weapons.

Hi,
here a pic of an "Artillerie-Schlepper 607(r)" - "Artillery tractor 607 (r)". This Russian tractor was called Stalin (Russian Сталин) and had the engine of the tank T 34. Source of the pic: an expired ebay auction.
Regards
Bert

Hi Slava,
I´m awfully sorry about this mistake. I took this designation from the book ""Beute-Kraftfahrzeuge und -Panzer der deutschen Wehrmacht" by Walter J. Spielberger without verification. I thought it is a reliable source, but I was wrong.
Thank You very much for the correction and the excellent pics
Best regards
Bert
