Good evening, Markus!

Interesting detail (circled with red) - is it turret bag attached by Germans?

Best regards, Aleks

Hi Aleks,

The T-60 had a forward opening turret hatch so this tank's had its turret reversed (maybe to allow full opening of the driver's hatch). So what looks like a turret bag is in fact the gun mantlet. Must say the boombox is an unusual place for the identification number. Then again, there was a limited space for markings in the small turret.

Regards,
Markus

I have forgotten about this variant (as tanks are not my main area of interest). :)
Have a nice New Year!

Best regards, Aleks
