► Soft Skinned Vehicles
Re: ► Soft Skinned Vehicles
Nice coachbuilt Ford Eifel (maybe it could be identified by the plate shape?), but... what the hell!!! Poor sleepy me, searching for the photos at night...
Seriously, what is going here? Paper mache mask, or what is that? The side walk is full of families. Car looks Panzer Grau painted, WH letters?

Re: ► Soft Skinned Vehicles
Hi Jose,
interesting pic, indeed. But it cannot be a vehicle of the Wehrmacht. The licens plate is not WH, but IIH (region Oberfranken und Mittelfranken in Bavaria) or IIIH (administrative districts Balingen, Calw, Freudenstadt and Horb south of Stuttgart in the Black Forest).
Best regards
Bert

Re: ► Soft Skinned Vehicles
Thanks for the info, Paul. The Wehrmacht had some sweet staff cars, no?
Cheers,

Hi Sturm 78,
sorry, I have to disappoint You. I cannot say anything about the exact purpose of this really rare variant of this Opel Blitz truck of the Luftwaffe. I have only one pic of such a truck with this special cabin in my collection (source: ebay).
Best regards
Bert
