Hi Sander, I think your car is a Wanderer W23, but I also think it is not a SS vehicle, due to the WH officers in the background, the WH on the fender, and that the H in the WH plate looks like SS due to the low resolution image. I might be wrong though!

Here are two images of Das Reich vehicles, a Ford G917T probably seen in Russia, and a great photo of a Bedford Umbauwagen Kfz, most probably taken in the Balkans, April/May 1941. Both images come from ebay;

Hi guys,

Going through my files and found some more of these;

Firstly an Opel (or Mercedes) of SS-VT, which might come from action in Poland 1939, as LSSAH also had its SS prefix camouflaged in this way during the campaign.
