Ford Luftwaffe bowser
I need some more ID on this Ford 6 wheeler, a Lutfwaffe bowser.
Could it be a DAF Trado conversion or did Ford Cologne build these 6 wheelers?
KInd regards,
Nuyt

Morning Nuyt:
Half an answer is better than none???
I do not believe it is DAF/Trado.
I have seen a few more photos of this type vehicle in use by the LW and have assumed it was a German Ford product.
I am just leaving the house for the shop but will do more research when I return home tonight.

Hi Nuyt:
That same vehicle appears in a better photo in Uwe Feist' book "militaerfahrzeuge of the wehrmacht".
He describes it as a V3000S but softskins are not his strong point.
The windscreen is quite similar to a lot of German busses of the time and many, although not Ford I think, had dual rear axles.
Just have to keep looking.
