beuteX3?

I apologize for the poor quality of this photo but the book it came from, History of Avia (CZ) was of a very odd shape and hard to get into my scanner.
Anyway, these are Russian Ford trucks originally captured by the Germans, recaptured by the Russians and turned over to Avia after the war for rebuilding. They also rebuilt captured German trucks but sadly there were no photos.
Enjoy
Bill

Hi Bill,

Here are two more Beute conscripts, the first looks like some sort of Chev, Bedford or Austin (or something else!) and the second I'm really not sure, any ideas?

Cheers

Hi Bill,

Here is a great image of a 1940 Buick (I think) in service with the Luftwaffe,

Hi Steve:
Great shots all and all are Chevrolets.
I will edit this with more details in a few minutes.

Sorry, Steve, got caught up at the store.
First is a 39 Chev with a most interesting folding top behind the windscreen. Don't think I have seen that before. Second is a 1940 Chev truck and your very pretty sedan is a 1940 Chev also.
I assume these are ex eBay, may I ask how old roughly. Don't want to miss a category to monitor.
cheers
Bill

hi

Hi Bill,

Thanks for that, I thought the "Buick" wasn't quite right, the Buicks I found had a thicker centre piece running through the middle of the grille.... thought the close up would be handy.

These images might be from a while ago, I only recently have been re-organising my finds into usable folders, so I have a feeling these could come from 1 or 2 years ago...

Cheers

Hi again Bill,

further to the Chevrolet thread that this seems to be turing into! 1939 Sedan, and two trucks. Note that the van type of Chev has a few similarities with the LAH command truck we were looking at in my other thread.... if only I could find a perfect match....

all from ebay;
