Morning Steve:
Thank you so much for your latest assortment. That kind of post really makes my day!!
1. 39 Chev
2, 38 Chev
3. 39 Chev
4. 39 Chev & Opel Super 6 I believe with an unuusual phaeton body.
5. 40 Chev
6. 38 Chev with Holzgaz Apparat & a Citroen
6, 7, 8. 1940 Packard 180
9. I am not sure yet if this is a Buick or a Studebaker
10. 35/36 Plymouth or Dodge
11. 38 Chev
12. 40 Packard 180
Interesting the Packards. I read in a magazine history article on Packards in Europe that they had a very aggressive distributor in France and the Benelux area and one sees a disproportionate number of Packard photos in respect to the total number built. Popular with Diplomats apparently.
Many thanks again.
Bill

I do believe that the 10th one is a '35 Plymouth. Here's another image that I found that gives me no doubt in my mind.

Morning Steve:
I believe all of your IDs are correct. That Autocar or actually Autocars, is very interesting indeed and one wonders how they found their way to Crete. Pretty well had to have come via NA post Rommell.
Here are some for you. I am not sure what the first one is.
And, a very rare International that may have come from Benelux or Norway
Finally a not too good shot of the 4X4 Chevs taken from the French

hi
Hi Bill,
I think your unidentified truck is some sort of Büssing-NAG, civilian version impressed into service by the Wehrmacht,
check out these images from the Old Timer website; which in turn come from pages 44-45 of Frank's "Trucks of the Wehrmacht"
Cheers

and three more images of 1938 Chevrolet trucks, taken in Denmark I believe according to the seller's captions but it looks a bill too mountainous for Denmark (?), this time with fold-down cab tilt, all from ebay
Cheers

Hi Bill,
yes, I think you're right, I mixed up the location with the series of Büssing-NAG photos with the building supplies for the camp... oops.
Anyways, here are two more cars that look American to me, first one maybe a Chev, second I don't know.
Cheers
