And many of them is of civilian orign, which I am absolutly not into, but I am sure there is someone who can help us out.
The one with the big wheels is interessting

The photo of the 4 F15 Umabuwagen Kfz 15 was for a long time the only known photo of such vehicles.
But this is the best scan I have seen.
The drawings are well known.
The last photo is of a Morris Commercial, and very interessting!
I guess there is not good photo of the rear end of any of those Fords, but if anyone have such, please show us!
A vehicle in the distance would do...
Here is yet another expired e-bay photo, this time a Scammel

Took the last of your photos to MLU forum, where Bill Murray answered it, and he also beated me here
http://www.mapleleafup.org/forums/showt ... #post32789
But he like me and you thinks the wheels looks very british...
Don't know if english wheels will fit on an Adler, but the truck looks much the same.
But then, it also looks very much like the bodywork is "umbau"...
Look at this photo to compare.

I think we can settle on the Adler 3 Gd for sure.
I posted on the MLU forum the theory that the wheels are from the ambulance/light cargo truck version of the 3 Gd but fitted with oversized tyres a la the Afrika Korps solution for VW and Mercedes Kubelwagens. The wheels are to my eyes a clear match and I think it was the tyre size that was throwing us off the scent. Really does look British.
I also agree with Rolf that it is some sort of umau as of all the photos I have I have never seen just that body.

The vehicle looks very englisch to me,my firts thought's where that is was a build on some sort of 15 cwt serie, but i coulden't find anny pictures of it .surely has to be an Adler 3 Gd but the wheels/tyres are very British or Afrika Korps looking. A very unusial photo indeed
But now i have seen the picture that Rolf posted of the Adler,it's the same that's for sure.
So thanks for the in formation Rolf and Bill

Two more absolutely outstanding photos!!
First a Ford V8-51 with a very unusual body along with an Opel Olympia.
Then an extremely rare Dodge 1940 VL model (American designation) probably ex-French although the Brits also purchased some Dodges in the same time frame.
Are those rather old eBay photos? Did not see them in the last month or so on there.
Thanks so much.
