Bedford umbauwagen
A rare picture of a Bedford armoured car ( umbauwagen).
More pictures of this vehicle can be found on page 4 or 5 of this topic.
It has a nice camouflage, and flak gun?.

Re: Beute- and Umbauwagen
Hi Jose:
The ambulance is a Horch 830.
The Chevrolet is what is called an "Imperial". This was a "Taxi/Limousine" version of the normal Chevrolet 4 door sedan that was extended in wheelbase. I do not know exactly how much the extension was in centimeters but it was basically a 7 passenger sedan converted from the basic 5 passenger sedan.
I have photos of this "Imperial" Chevrolet being used in almost every country in Europe and Scandinavia.
Sadly, it seems very few survived as it would be a great collector car today.

They look like the Yugoslav Chevrolets, but I'm not sure. Yugoslavia acquired Chevrolets 1940th and 1941st and if the model is not the same then it is very similar.

The Chevie in your photo has a very Commonwealth feel to it, the oversize tyres and the cut out front mudguard suggest Australian or Canadian. The body does not seem to match any Aussie or Canadian ones I am aware of.
