Hi Sturm,
It looks like a 1936 Model 131 D missing an outside rear wheel. Their payload was rated at about 2,5 tons.

Hi Max,
131 is the wheelbase, not official model commercial code. IMHO on the picture is model RA (single rear wheels) 131in WB 1,5-tonner with the older high roof cab.
Since the rear axle is the same on all 1,5-ton models, the single rear wheels 1936 models RA and RC (157in WB) have a distinctive rear hub and it is hard to say are they genuine or are RB or RD dual rear wheels models with outer rear wheels deleted to spare rubber.

Thanks much for the clarification. You really know your Chevys! I thought it looked a little light for 2,5 tons but I had no info on a single rear wheel model.
