Hi Armin and Tadportly,
Thanks for the additional photos and excellent ID. Indeed it does look like a Dutchman, an even rarer find outside of the UK where most of the cancelled Dutch order were kept back and used as training vehicles. I think I may have another one here. Your opinions?

Hi Max and all
I do not know much about these vehicles, but checked my files and
found some more pictures.

Regards
Armin

Hi Armin and Tadportly,
Thanks, armin for posting all those fine photos. I have a question perhaps tadportly can address. The third pic appears to show a Dutchman with quarter elliptical leaf spring suspension:

Is this another commercial variant? I don't recognize it.

Looks like 1935 Vickers Commercial suspension. A small number were bought by Latvia and Lithuania

Hi George,
Isn't that an Opel Olympia? I don't think the Austin had faired in headlamps like those. Plus it's left hand drive.
Cheers,
Max

Hi Armin,
Very interesting, thank you. I knew the Dutchman got around a bit, despite what some sources say, eg some were sent to Greece and captured, but apparently they turned up elsewhere as well.
Cheers,
Max
