Hi Francy,

You are right, it´s a Ford. I think it´s not a Beute truck, but a normal German Ford G 917 T.

Hi Francy:

Same family, different country. It is a Canadian Dodge D8/T212 8 cwt 4X4.
Mostly used by the Brits in NA. RHD, slightly smaller motor and with British pattern wheels and tyres.
You can just see the roof hatch over the passenger seat.

Seriously at Arnhem , I assumed it was the Bulge. - I would give anything to know what an captured "Willy s" jeep would like ,-as in cammo and marking-, as part of an SS outfit.

If you look at the men and the crosses on the Stuart closely, you will see that they are Hungarian. Alan

Here picture of a Vickers Light Tank captured by Germans in Greece. Later on in that campaign they were used by the Germans, as already proven by some pictures on this thread. Later on the turned up with the German forces on the northern flank during operation Barbarossa in 1941.
