Hi Kerry,
As I know, this fist emblem belongs to XXIV. Armeekorps.
But I'm not sure. Could anyone confirm it?
Maybe Markus is right.

I think it's not 78. Sturmdivision.
XXIV. Armeekorps' logo has a fist striking left and its shield's shadow is on the right. So the photo isn't reversed.
Furthermore I think the photo was taken before 1943. As I know in that time 78. Sturmdivision doesn't existed. Predecessor of it, the 78. Inf. Div. had a different marking (a church with three tower in a triangle).

Hello all,
Thank you all for the interesting research you have put in, hopefully the answer will be found.
Just to clarify, the picture is not reversed, please note the position of the fuel tank-filler pipe. It is on the rear righthand side when viewed from the back, as per normal.
Thanks again,
Kerry.

Markus and Frank,
Thanks to you both an identity has been suggested for both the emblem and the general. XXIV.Armeekorps and Leo Geyr von Schweppenburg, a result, thank you both very much.
Best regards,
Kerry.

Thanks for feedback, Kerry! I have a poor quality identification chart but now it's 99% sure for me this marking belongs to XXIV. A.K. (Look at general von Schweppenburg's goggles!)

Hi all,
A pic from the advance in Greece in 1941 of Krupp L2H 242 (I think) of Feldzeug-Btl.18 with the unit emblem on the fender, if I got it right it is the city of Osnabruck crest.

And Ford V3000 from the same unit with somewhat strange cab (if this is V3000 at all but not some domestic custom-cabbed 1940/41 Ford) :

Cheers!

Hi all,
Probably this question has been asked here before but I wasn't able to find anything.
So, is the unit to which this nice emblem belonged known? Or it is a personal emblem?

TIA!

Hi guys,
Came across this Pz II photo and was hoping someone here recognized the insignia on the turret and what unit this tank belonged to. I suspect it is personal marking for a unit or sub-unit commander or possibly part of a company or platoon marking system.

Thanks

Hello all,
I have been reviewing some of my photos and would like to know the units represented here. The Scammells and the tow-trucks, which I believe are Ford 917-based, have a vulture as their emblem. The other vehicles have a shark. Any help would be very gratefully received.
Thank you,
Kerry.

If you will allow, here are just two more. The US cars have an interesting selection of markings, including what appears to be either an explosion or a bunch of flowers on the doors! The other, Crossley IGLs, have a little pig, being pointed to by the soldier's knife.
Thanks again,
Kerry.

Hi Kerry,
other vehicles have a shark.
I have a similar photo which is clearly assigned to the Technical NSKK-Batallion Döberitz. The unit was set up at Reichs Motorsportschule in Döberitz
The coats of arms may differ but there might be a connection
"My" unit was in 1940 in De Panne (Belgium) with the salvage of prey equipment employet.
Maybe the shark is a whale :)

Hello augustdieter,
Thank you for your input. I had not considered other sea creatures, but now I look at it perhaps it could be a whale or even a dolphin. I will keep looking.
Best regards,
Kerry.
