I never thought of that.
...but i doubt it.
It looks more like some German (Austrian) eagle.
I believe this is some Heer unit.

That Das Reich bike is actually an early Zundapp KS750, the second bike is indeed a BMW R12.

Here is my contribution to this fine thread. This one is from my personal collection and comes from a negative and photo lot of an obergrf. in a flak unit. The unit emblem is from a barrage ballon unit. any thoughts would be helpful. thanks mike
