It´s a 1939 Citroën TUB or TUC, with forward control cab and front wheel drive. Mechanical is inherited from the Citroën Traction Avant.
1700 examples were built of the TUB model (9 CV), payload of 850 kg
50 examples were built of the TUC model (11 CV), payload 1.200 kg.
I guess it´s a TUB model, because of the number of them produced. Nice van, itsn´t it?

Red Cross trucks
Hello all,
The photo of May 8th 1945 shows retreating German troops including Red Cross trucks directon surrender to the Americans in Plzen.
Troops entering the small city of Melnik on the Labe(Moldau) river from the north and the south caused a real tragffic jam.

That truck with semi-trailer is not Tatra 111, is it? It is Henschel or Büssing or... what?
