Comparing sizes of Japanese armored vehicles

Post by jepot » 13 Aug 2023 20:10

The gray are 3d prints that im am not sure of the base size thus printed were guesstimates to the scale model ones:

The Ho-Ha looks fine but the HI-Ki and the SS-Ki appear a bit too big, looking at the width. The I-Go was quite big so this may be ok too... Any comments about the dimensions? Thanks!

Seems you've answered your own question. Guesstimates aren't "to-scale". Do you have a scale ruler? What is their supposed scale? 1:72?

I am using a scale calculator- but the base measurements of the 3d drawings after following the right conversion come out apparently a bit too big as seen in the pictures; some of the vehicles came out right- the SS-ki was the one that seemed off scale- yes these are supposed to be 1/72

Sounds like you'll be dialing-it-in soon, hope to see more.
