ME-262 1A

Post by David C. Clarke » 02 Nov 2002 04:04

Hi Folk, just a quick note, I received a notice yesterday that Hobbylink Japan was shipping my brand new Tamiya 1/48th Scale ME-262 A-1 which was just released in Japan.
As you might know, Tamiya pulled a fast one and issued the Ground Attack version of this plane first (ME-262 A-2a). That was a really nice kit and came with its own tiny 1/48th scale kettenkrad. I don't think the kettenkrad is included in the ME-262 A-1 kit. So, I guess I'm stuck with both versions. Isn't life horrible?
Best Regards, David

Greetings:

I have also heard of a resin kit converting the Tamiya A-2 to the A-1. I don't remember the exact company that produces it off hand, but I found it @ greatmodels. Just in case you really didn't "want" to buy both.

Not a Chance Sam, my model collection is safely tucked away in four different rooms on three different floors. If i ever piled it up in one place, my wife would know just how crazy I am.
By the way, the ME-262 kit came. No kettenkrad, but what the heck!
Best Regards, David :D
