Japanese "Nissei" soldiers..

#1

Post by Dan W. » 24 Nov 2002, 20:07

This was an exhibit that was at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. that was celebrating the many contributions of the Japanese-American "Nissei" soldiers and how they used their language skills to converse with the Japanese. You will notice the Nissei is in front ot the POW and is talking and intepreting.

In the other picture my camera flash shows the Japanese soldiers hiding in the cave, and without the flash from the camera they were not even visible in the darkness of this diorama.
