It's SS-VT division (later to become "Das Reich") in France, 1940.

Does anyone else notice the odd lighting in all of these illustrations? It's obvious whatever the subjects are doing in the picture takes a backseat to what clothes they're wearing.

Does anyone else notice the odd lighting in all of these illustrations?

Ron poses as the subjects while his wife would take the photos for reference (or he did 20 years ago when I conversed with him via mail), so this is probably the result of being in a studio lighting setup.

Whoa! I just noticed something else, too. In almost every picture of a unit of guys, their faces are nearly identical.
Ron Volstad is clearly portraying the secret clone battalions of the Wehrmacht.
