RSO PAK 40 and Su-122

#1

Post by Mistel1 » 04 Feb 2003, 14:13

Hello,

I'm planning to build a diorama with a disabled Steyr RSO Pak40 and a Su-122 (Not ISU-122), together with Soviet Assault troops. Can anybody give a hint on when (month, year) and where these two vehicles could have met? I hate anachronistic combinations in my dioramas. Thanks in advance... :)

Thanks Manteuffel... This gives me Dec.1943, when RSO PAK was available. I was not sure about the time of Su-122.

I'm thinking of another alternative now: Instead of RSO, I can use a Marder IIIH, 23rd Pz. Div, Early spring 1943.

Regards...

You know, i can't do it - my last diorama was set in Kursk, with german officers observing a destroyed T-34/43 with addition of a Panther D and a Kübelwagen. :)

But thanks for the help anyway. March 1943 with Su-122 and Marder III will be good, the only thing i have to decide being to use whether winter white or dark green on Su-122...
