Help with finding models..

Post by megjur » 09 Mar 2003 03:21

Does anyone out there remember a line of armor that was sold, pre built in about I guess 1/100 scale or so. They were dark green and very very detailed. I think they were made in Austria, but I'm not sure. I seem to remember them coming in an orange cardboard blister pack, but I could be wrong. There were not only WWII tanks, trucks and artillery, but modern as well. Any help in what they were called would be appreciated.

Hi Megjur. Orange cardboard blister can only mean ROCO an Austrian Company modelling in 1/87th Scale--HO for Railroad buffs. And yes, their Modern Armor is better than a lot of 1/35th scale kits. Also, their modern line is extremely diverse with both AFVs and Softskins. Best Regards, David

Hi Megjur, Glad to help and I hope you find what you want on ebay! If there's some modern ROCO you're looking for in particular and can't find, let me know. I'm phasing out that part of my collection. Best Regards, David
