A novice model builder compared to the rest of you out there who contribute to this forum...I just was wondering how or what persay is the best type of airbursh out there for me? I was just curious of what type..and how the heck do i use one? ive seen the finishes before and their excellent..yet my brush sometimes cant do what an airbush can do...so any help is greatly appreciated

I've had an airbrush for over twenty years now,and I've never used it!Quess I'm chicken! :)

Personnally, I use Badger airbrushes. I have one for almost 10 years. It gives excellent results. If you would like to have more info about airbrushes, I recommend you visit this site: http://www.badger-airbrush.com/. There are plenty of info about available sets, 101 courses, etc.

For me Badger is the best, I used a Testors one once and was ok too, but I'm not sure about long term quality since it's plastic, maybe it would be nice for beginners and I guess it's cheaper too.

I beg your pardon but my question is related to this thread so no point in opening one. what is the "solvens" used for airbrushing acrylic and what proportion? i've read thiner 1/1 is what should be used or whater but I don't realy trust the magazines I've read this in.
