In your diorama that you are seeking to incorporate camoflouge you need to be more specific. Which battle area have you settled upon? What armor or equipment will be in it? Is this what you are seeking camo for or is it uniforms. I have reference books on subject just need to know what to look up. Things were different per area. Are you seeking 100percent accuracy I assume you are?

Actully i narrowed it down to the battles in and around the seine river in france, with the 12th SS panzer divios,"Hitlerjugend" i believe the name of it was. In my Diorama im using a opel blitz fuel truck, and a german flakpanzer IV WirbelWind, and going on the scehemes implemented by the whermacht and SS in august 1944...since thats when those battles took place. i did alot of research and found out the schemes on the vehicles, but not for the men. so anything ya got for that time period...color pictures..wodded areas or anything would be greatly appreciated so i can get a mind set on what to use..thanks!

There is a re enactors sight on the WEB look up 12SS Hitler Jugend. They have pics of the unit in camo and such but they are copyrighted. However, their accuracy is first rate. Few pictures in color are around of the unit except in the black uniform shown. However, in and around Caen they wore the camos like in the pic of the man and a officer.

I don´t know if this could help...Some time (Many Years  ) ago I made a 12SS PzIV at Normandy. After some research I found that:
Many 12SS Tankers (Together with 1SS, I believe) used "liberated" UBoote crew leather suits in black. Both Jacket and Trousers
A fair amount of Italian cammo cloth was also "liberated" by 1st SS after Italian capitulation and was brought by them to Normandy where it was used -Among other units- By 12 SS Grenadiers...So the clothes of a typical 12Ss Infantry soldier could be : Peas 44 cammo jacket and Italian Cammo trousers.
Also tanks officers used privately tailored Italian cammo clothes (Jackets)

Although its possibly a bit late in the day for you, the best sites for clour are modern suppliers for re enactors. I use them as reference and those re enactors are pretty demanding about accuracy. See below
