Saint-Chamond HobbyBoss 1/35

#1

Post by Milan Mynar » 23 Mar 2017, 21:21

I'm trying to build something from the Great, or the 1st World War. The vehicle itself resembles of the idea of mad designer. In contrast, the model still sticks by me very well, everything fits perfectly. The only fear I have of painting , I have to use masking tape for it´s camouflage .

Here are photos from the first stage of painting. I have to use masking tape. It is my first opportunity to use this tape in bigger scale.

The last phase of painting. After it,I removed the masking tape.

In some places where the tape does not close well, I'll have a little touch up. I have to retouche a little by brush.

Individual colors are separated by a thin black line. Created by thin CD marker.

I think the model is really finished, I am not able to make it better. If I have to evaluate it, it is easy to build, parts fit together very well, with the advantage of the strips of the belts. It is a total relaxation kit. Painting, I used colors Tamiya, Agama color strips diluted with Tamiya X-20A thinner. Sidolux, lacquer oil, Umton, in case of fading with S 6006 non aroma thinner. Matt lacquer Gunze H-20, Sira Hobby Pigments. The soil mat is passed through a tea strainer mixed with Hercules glue and water + ModelScene follicles.
