Camouflage pattern on the KEROMAN III
looking for any information on the camouflage paint colors used on de Uboot bunker KEROMAN III.
I have ''I think '' al the books on the german Uboot bunkers out there but non of then Have a good/clear refence picture of the KEROMN III front part of the pens.
And the www shows mostly period pictures of the other bunkers K- I,K- II (with camo)
I have build a smal part op the bunker in 1/35 scale and i would like to paint it corectly, and yes the complete bunker was paintend thats for sure .
Regards
Maarten

Very nice texture
However I would doubt if the same texture were used on all the surfaces.

It's probably hard to say. Even left in "natural" concrete the color will vary with the mix of concrete and with time. As concrete ages, it changes color. It also depends on how it weathers in various locations.

Re: Camouflage pattern on the KEROMAN III
It definitely has painted camouflage

The above pic is from 45/46 after the French navy took over the base
Looks like only the entrances ,roof FLAK towers where painted ,i got information from a French Bunker expert .... that the bunker was painted during construction.
thats why there no camo on the left side and MG bunker and that the most likely colors used where a yelow tan ,green and or black

Primed with dark grey, and Basic rust colors applied.
Letting it dry for a day then some washes.
