German WW2 Type 667 Regelbau

#1

Post by Ammunitionbunker » 08 Mar 2018, 10:06

Good morning all,

I am finishing off another project related to the construction of the Atlantic wall bunkers. This one is the type 667 Regelbau, which housed the famous bunkerpak, that is the 5cm pedistal gun.

Well done!
I' like very much surface of concrete
I would add my 5 cents: please consider using pigments for gentle weathering.
Model looks perfect but very fresh. By addding thin layer of dust would make it more realistic :)

If You don't like using pigments then You can use sand paint diluted with thinner (1:10) and spray it over the model. It looks like thin layer of dust.

Pretty nice - I like the surface textures that using the heavy cardboard gives you -
it simulates concrete well at that scale.
