Today, first stage of painting. I decided to test Polish made colour set Hataka.

Don't forget to add the gun shield There are some other issues with the kit itself, but at this stage I won't bother you with those
One thin though, the name R39 is not an original one (It's probably based on the misconception that the Hotchkiss armed with the long gun was the H-39 and that this type of number also applied to the Renault...)

Today I add another photos from the building of the model, unfortunately I built the model without a shield on the cannon. I will have to find a suitable drawing and make the shield, ideally from some thin metal. Thank you for your notice. Continuation of painting. I decided to add one figure from Miniart set, to the turret of that tank.

In the end I applied decals, made a small vignette under the model.

I remember very long ago Gunze Sangyo was the first that made attempt to produce the left and right gun shield on Heller’s M 1 Hotchkiss H35/39 1:35
