Krupp Protze 6 x 4 windscreen cover

Hi,
Wondered if anyone could tell me whether the windscreen cover used in Europe and the East on Krupp Protze 6x4 trucks were padded, were they made to slip over the entire screen or to protect front and back or whether just used on the rear when the screen was folded down over the bonnet.
any help would be appreciated.
