Re: 1/72 J7W2 Shinden Kai Conversion
Extended the rear decking forward into the cockpit area to give myself a lil more leeway for sizing...

Thx, I recently picked up a 5th 1/72 Shinden (Why did I do that ) I do plan on doing some larger scale Shinden's in the future, just need to keep chuggin' through this project though.
This kit is on the list -> https://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/product ... en_cl.html
I love the insane level of detail!

Does the Nippon brand LS make a Shinden at one time, as their kits are very well done and detailed I have several of their old kits still in box for resale in thew future.

Re: 1/72 J7W2 Shinden Kai Conversion
IDK if LS ever made a Shinden, in the past I had 5+ unbuilt LS Ki-46 Dinah, 3 versions. I built the LS Ki-109 & Ki-67, both have been lost to the sands of time.Mark in Cleveland, Tn. wrote: ↑24 Feb 2023, 01:00Does the Nippon brand LS make a Shinden at one time, as their kits are very well done and detailed I have several of their old kits still in box for resale in thew future.

Re: 1/72 J7W2 Shinden Kai Conversion
Micro update, added material to fit intakes, top edge. Added material to push the intakes out roughly 3" scale inches per side, partially to account for intake area lost by reducing intake height by roughly 6-ish" each side and obviously because its where the engine needs to be fed from.
The counter weights and tips have been removed from the canards to add material to the tips and more...
Span, chord and profile will be changed...

Wow; - who is your manicurist?
sorry; - wonderful modeling; - please go ahead.(- -)
(It would be interesting to know what type the 30 mm M.G. were intended for)
Couldn't find anything here either: http://www.daveswarbirds.com/Nippon/Japanese.htm

The Shinden's were to be equipped with four Type 5 30mm cannon.
