For those interested, the following is what I have matched as great approximate matches and use for late war and very late war:
(prior to any scale effects of for example up to additional 50% maximum XF2 Flat White added):

RAL 6003 Olivegrün - XF58 Olive Green (three parts) : XF2 Flat White (one part).
Mini spray cans the closest is TS-28 Olive Drab 2

RAL 7028 Dunkengelb (late war) - no match, but, XF60 Dark Yellow (one part) : XF2 Flat White (four parts).

RAL 8012 Rotbraun - XF7 Flat Red (four parts) : XF9 Hull Red (four parts) : XF2 Flat White (one part).
Mini spray cans the closest is TS-33 Dull Red

RAL 8017 Schokoladenbraun - XF9 Hull Red (three parts) : XF64 Red Brown (one part).
Mini spray cans the closest is TS-62 NATO Brown

A further note to add is the obvious:
Do your history research on the unit and vehicle history.
Consider:
A) Production colour orders given and intended
B) Material shortages, dilution and practicalities
C) Different factories eventualities and batch specific design variations
D) Eyewitness reports
E) Date of photographs and film contrasting: Colour, colourised, Black & White, Digital copies.
F) Weathering
G) Scale effects
