15cm K 16 Krupp (for 3D printing)

Post by EPOCH3 » 17 Jul 2023 19:28

Finally getting around to finishing up my Krupp 15cm K16 which
is to be 3D printed in 1/35th scale. I might also do in 1/16th
scale. Will post some pics as they become physical

Decided to do in both 1/35th scale and 1/16th scale - here are a few wip pics of the first parts for the 1/16 rohrwagon.
Shown are two printers worth of parts that I printed overnight - printers are Anycubic Mono 4K X (a bit older ones bought used off ebay) and
print times were and 10 hours each at medium resolution. The surface of the barrel is really quite nice for such a large print. Parts are as printed (not cleaned up or post build cured yet)

....... and a few hours later.
Only 22 parts. This was a quick print in medium
resolution so after finding a few fit issues the model will be revised
and corrected and then it's ready to reprint at higher res.
