Does any one have a clue of how to paint Waffen ss Oakleaf camo?
not hte Brown Herbst type, but the Green spring italy type?

Patience and a good brush ;)

Start with the basic colour, and then work yourself up starting with the lightest colours.

I tried this, and my first attempt was actually not that bad. I used a tan colour to drybrush (really, I don't bother to bry-brush in 5 differnt colours on 1/32" basis... ;)). Use some cheap figures first, though, like Dragons (good enough quality to actually use if successful...)

Oh, sorry. Well, then a light green then ;)

I use Humbrol 119 for brown drybrushs, and Hunbrol 120 for green drybrushs - they have a nice 'worn fabric' appearence, IMO

but im having trouble with the Feldgrau Heer uniforms, they just are too damn dark............
any one?
I have A LOT of Modelkits...... so i can practice.

The green ones? I just use Humbrol 66. They were worn quite a lot, so this can be used just fine, IMO

Helmut, try Humbrol 111 for feldgrau. You can add a touch of white Humbrol 34 to lighten it a bit.
