Decal stickers

Post by Phil V » 20 Aug 2002 12:07

I am searching for some decal stickers for a model I am constructing.

I am searching for some small iron cross and totenkopf stickers.

This is my first attempt at modelling and I have no idea where to look for items such as these (if in fact they are possbile to obtain).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards.

You didn't get any with your model kit?

If no, what scaly (and what subject) are you modelling?

I am "canibalising" a number of kits (and odds and ends) to make a battle scene of my own.

I have no real plan or scale, I just add a bit here and there.

At present I am working on a small fort / battlement in which I need the decals for.

OK - you can try the Achtungpanzer shop (http://www.achtungpanzer.com/) for starters.
Also, rtry searching trough Google. I know where to get them in Denmark, but not on the web... :|

Good luck on your project!

I just finished the Bismarck and it came with no decals at all. Maybe because the Bismarck had giant swastikas on its deck. Its sad that all the models are "politically correct" so they're historiccaly inaccyrate.

Yes, if it's the German models, they're not allowed to have them. The English doesn't have them either anymore, and cigarette marks on the race cars are also illegal.

Luckily, they can be bought at high prices :|
