Go for Tamiyas Tigers (the ones in 1:35) They are about the best you will find on the market, and you can get them for $30-40. There are 3 different, early middle and late. You can even get one with a Michael Wittmann figure...

My advice would rather be Dragon or Italeri. They're far less expensiwe than Tamya, and the quality is equal.

BTW, I had some wery bad experiance width Japaneese models. Plastic can be too tough and from time to time it's wery possible to locate plastic restles on the edges - sloppy work!

I think the perfect compromise between expense and accuracy are the Tiger I kits made by Academy, a Korean Company. The 1/35th Tiger I kits without the interior generally go for around $20, if you look around on the internet.
These kits are very good and won't disappoint.
Of Course, if you intend to spend more money, you can but one of the Tamiya kits (there are at least five of these, but the "Early" and "Initial
Production" are the best). Or, you could buy the two Academy kits, one an early, one a mid-production, that have complete interiors. Good Luck and Best Regards, David :D

You really cant go wrong with the Tamiya kit. Here is a picture of mine, with the interior painted and little else done to it. For about $8.00 you can also buy the Panzergrenadiers minatures kit, which when painted and assembled go on the tank or beside it. An impressive look when finished. Zimmerit and the photo-etch grille set (pictured) you must purchase seperately.

I generally stick with Tamiya, basically because of availability.
Acandemy do a really nice Tiger kit with complete interior, I really enjoyed doing that one, but the fit of parts was not 100%, but some say that makes the point of doing a kit, the adapting etc.
