Tamiya 1/16th Tiger

Post by HJ Division Grenadier » 19 Sep 2002 23:07

Has anyone experience of building the 1/16 Tamiya Tiger I?
Or maybe even the RC version? I have thought about having a go with one, but the price is a bit of a hurdle. I dont want to spend all that money and be dissapointed, but being Tamiya I think it should be ok.
Anyone?

I've been thinking about buying that beast as well, but I'm totaly crap at painting models so would have to find a pro to do it justice.

Bernie Brule has one such beast, also some avi's of the thing in action which is brainwashing me even more into buying this thing!

Hey Guys, it's a beautiful beastie, but even I can't justify the extravagance. Cheapest I've seen it, by the way, is $565.00 U.S.D at militaryhobbies.com, a Canadian company. Cheers, David 8O

If you think thats expensive then check out my other post about the RC tanks at mark-1-tanks.
Very nice, but you could buy a decent second hand car for these prices.
