but, 1:1? i'm just a liiiittle skeptical of that.
bu then, didn't cameron build a 1:1 model of the titanic?
i am veeeery interested in that movie... i've always been very taken with the yamato, being the largest battleship ever build, and having such a tragic end, and all
wish i didnt have to wait like a year for it to come out and maybe be translated to english and re-released and stuff

Me and a friend waundered into a bar near Yokusuka Naval base (US) in the japanese bar section - not the US one. It was dedicated to the Yamamoto and had all these pictures of her on the walls. This was a long time ago. Looking back it probably was the bar for Nip sailors. They did not like us. They were a bit hostile..actually very.
