Help

Post by tonyh » 30 Sep 2002 15:20

Hi lads (and lassies).

I'm looking for a list of Model shops in England or in Europe. Its kinda tough to get stuff over here in Ireland. If you have any, could you post some of the websites of some shops that you've bought from.

Cheers
Tony

Hi Tony, I don't have the website handy, but I can recommend highly Accurate Armour in Glasgow. They produce really good resin kits, but are also the UK distributors for plastic companies like Skybow. I received my kits exactly one week after ordering them--Scotland to New Jersey in a week! Now that's good service! The owner is Derek Hanson ad he's very helpful.
Best Regards, David :D

Hi Tony,

I know in England an e-shop - Hannants. You can visit it at http://www.hannants.co.uk.

Hi there.
The best model shop I have ever seen is in Poole in England.
He does not have a website, so I cant help with that. But if you want n address I can get it for you.
He has hundreds and hundreds of kits, some are extremely rare, from all countries and periods.
Like a kid in a candy shop when I go there.
He is also an excellent model builder himself, Ive seen some of his work, very impressive.
The shop is called Plastic Pastimes.
Let me know if you want his number.

Hi HJ. Yep, post the number. They might do a mail order service. Or if I'm near Poole, I could pop in.

Cheers for the info
