Great read, much of the osprey series about the german army is based on this. Essential.

A great and beautiful general read about the third reich. I grew up with this series and I love it. I know that it contains atleast one error: it mentions the german sniper Thorvald in the famous Stalingrad sniper duel. The layout and pictures are great and there's a lot of personal accounts woven into the story. Recommended.

best regards/ daniel
