Discovery Channel and the Joy Division

Looking for opinions on Discovery Channel's documentary, Weapons of War: Leibstandarte which just aired here tonight. Apart from the annoying fact that all but one British interviewed pronounced the division's name as "Liebschtandartah", I was left with a strange taste in the mouth that this documentary just wasn't quite right, that it was one of these 'the winner writes the story' cases. But I'd like some more solid evidence of errors to work with.
