Hi tollickd,

As to Brian L. Davies, his books usually cover pictures (mostly black and white) along with some drawings.
I don't know whether the Flags book is mainly pictures or not as I did not
see it.

The
German Army Uniforms and Insignia, 1933-1945
Brian L. Davis
is full with b&w pictures of uniforms, many from real life shots and others
just of the posing type you used to have back then if going to a foto studio.

I don't know about R. Lumsden as I didn't check his books.

Regards.

Angelo

The Flags book is good, nice colour artwork and black/white photos of the flags in use.

Robin Lumsden's books are good, there is a series of them.

cheers
Pete
