News update:

Last week I received from the publisher a formated, but still unedited pdf copy of the book. Currently it is 286 pages long (save the index) and contains 18 portrait photos, 39 'action' photos, 17 maps and 9 OOB charts. Generally speaking, it looks good and reads well.

All the best
Kamen

You mean one that picks the right paper quality, uses photos that aren't grainy from being enlarged, gets the captions right, avoids sending the book to the printer before the last proofreading, and so on? Can you name one? :P

The total number of pages is not reduced, it is the information on Amazon's site that is very dated. The pages are exactly 288.

It is not the first time that amazon makes a mistake about the book they list, let us see who can make sense of this book title:
"The White Rose of Stalingrad: The formation and early history of Napoleon's 9th Light Infantry Regiment "

Not read it through yet but this far it seems like a very good book, I think it's a good concept that you can keep for your future works :)

Are you focusing on Hungary now or will Into The Enemy's Den see daylight one day?

Regards
