Really monumental work, gentlemen (seems to be a ton if you have the complete set in your hands  ). Thousands of pages (printed very well, photos of high quality reproduced) on every Heeres-Artillery-Unit that ever existed, down to Battery-Level, even if they existed only a few weeks)!

Plus tons of extra info on the used artillery pieces, unit organization, overviews on the Artillery organzisation for bigger operations etc.

I can highly recommend this edition, basing nearly soleyly on archive documents.

I have also recieved my copy and agree to 100% with Jan-Hendrik

Received my set this week, took about a month for them to get here in the U.S.. Seems mainly delayed by U.S. Customs. But they arrived, in excellent condition.

What can I say that has not already been said. WOW, outstanding, something I have been looking for and fills a gap in the history of the Wehrmacht. I do not speak German and my understanding of German in written form is limited but I can say that I am able to understand this series. Information for each unit, its locations throughout their existence, under what higher command it was serving under, and what types of artillery they were equipped with, is easily discernible.

I will categorize this series as a Order of Battle and this series is easily the best I have ever come across.

Mr. Kleinert - I applaud you for what is obviously a labor of love.

Hallo

„Chronik der schweren Artillerie-Abteilungen (mot.) IV./251 (umbenannt in 841) und IV./267 (umbenannt in 850)

• A 4 - Format
• 204 Seiten schwarz/weiß in Fadenbindung
• Hardcover
• 135 gr. Glanzpapier

35,- inkl. Porto

Uwe

A new Volume is published!

It covers the deployment of Eisenbahn-Batterie 712& 725 at the Anzio-Nettuno Front! Both were equipped with 28cm K5(E), it includes the war diary of Bttr. 712 and many pictures, overviews what was shelled with how many rounds on with target etc.

I received my copy and can recommend it. Excellent material, avaiable via Uwe aka schwarzermai!
