Publishers in England

Hello

My name is Arcadio Rodríguez Tocino and I do not know much English.

I have written a novel in Spanish. It is titled "Alderney, the Island of Silence". The novel is set and takes place in 1943.

I am looking for publishers in England who are specialized in World War II.

Does any of you know whom I could address?

Thank you.

Hi

The military fiction genre is a very small market though it has grown in recent years in the UK through the works of Holland.
I can't think of a single Publishing House that would be a specific target based on genre alone.
Your best bet is to contact Spanish Publishers or better still get a Spanish Literature Agent, and see if you can access the UK via
there Spanish subsidiaries etc.

Best of luck

Andy

I have published novels about Oradour, Leningrad and now I will publish one about Treblinka ... but I do everything in you do it yourself.

The literary agents is to spend money that I do not want to spend and the edition in Spain is an almost rotten market.

If I find a suitable editorial for my novel in Alderney, everything will be OK, but I will not find it again with my own means.

And thank you very much for your response.
