Mentioned in the FdW by user Johann Heinrich lately:
Beyond the Barbed Wire: POW Labour Projects in Canada during the Second World War
Link: https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/289080017.pdf
482 pages, download about 8.83 MB.
My thanks to J.H., who always finds interesting clues.

Re: Academic Lectures/Presentations/Discussions on YouTube
I believe that this might be the appropriate place to post about an aviation site that heavily focuses on WW2 aircraft and performance characteristics:
Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles
This is just one of the ever expanding series:
Messerschmitt Me 262 and P-80 Thrust, Drag, and Horsepower
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv83yBebiIU
Many of the videos on that site delves into pilot's level mathematics & aerodynamics, but explained in a manner not overly difficult to understand.
One of the academic sources that is referred to in this video is:
AERODYNAMICS FOR NAVAL
AVIATORS
BY
H. H. HURT, JR.
UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policie ... 80t-80.pdf
The maths and aerodynamics in the Naval Aviators reference IS more involved than what is in the video.
Thanks to "The Ibis" for this thread.
I have a great liking for his posts, and we had a good rapport at the "other" military history forum @ACG.
He was a quality moderator there, and a good friend.
