Hello,

I wanted to know if does this book contains any information or pictures made in late September or in very early October 1944?

If you give me 10 days or so (need to order it through inter-library loan) I can get my hands on 61. Infanterie-Division: Kampf und Opfer ostpreussischer Soldaten, which should have the same text as the book you mention (same author and similar length), but there may not be any photos. Could that be of any interest?

Yes, that would be great and very helpful! If there is any information about the division during late September and early October in the book, it would help me a lot.

As far as I know "61. Infanterie-Division: Kampf und Opfer ostpreussischer Soldaten" is the only WW2 unit history digitized by the German National Library. It has maps, but no photos.
