Researching...

I am interested in the procedures involved in some aspects of research on the partisan units. I was wondering whether anyone on the forum has ever had the pleasure of researching the surviving SS microfilmed unit documents etc...?
I know there are references to this in the Cruel Hunters I am reading. Anyone have an idea of how to contact the author..?
Ideas appreciated!

Hi Matt,
Glad to see someone researching this subject, I hope you will write a book on this subject. A good place to look for documents is the National archives in Wahingston D C.

Good subject to research! Maybe you could try to contact Mr. MacLean through the National War College. There's his e-mail address ... :) http://www.ndu.edu/nwc/faculty/expertise.htm#MacLean and http://www.ndu.edu/nwc/phonelist/

BTW I'm also very interested in anti-partisan operations. Haven't done any serious research though.

regards,

MaPen
